“ Update [Sep 2024]: This place was called "New Palace" during my last October visit. Now it's "Tasty", I asked the manager and she said the owner is changed and part of the staff were changed. The food is still good with much (or no) MSG. [October 2023] Nice chinese restaurant. The server gave us good recommendations for dishes, we all enjoy those 6 dishes. Each dish has large portion for 4 of us. We will come visit again for sure! ”

“ Very friendly staff, sometimes you have to flag them down if you need something. Dim sum is good here compared to Chinatown locations. The salt and pepper pork chops are uniquely great here. I ordered the flat rice noodle for my 1 year old and she loves it. The soup dumplings are so cute and tasty here. ”

“ Great food and a good atmosphere. This Cantonese restaurant has been around for quite some time, although it seems to have changed names and services every few years. It is more spacious than the last time I visited. The food they serve is still tasty, although the portion is a little small according to the price. The crab is 45 by itself. If you like dim sum and Chinese food, it's worth a try. ”

“ Had dim sum on a Saturday morning around 11.30am and there was no line at all. I’m more accustomed to the crazy lines at Fung’s kitchen but wanted to try this place out instead. Pleasantly surprised by the taste of most dim sum items!!! The ma lai gao did not use the right brown sugar so the color was off, but overall we liked it better than Fung’s kitchen. Would rather come back here if taste was the number one priority. Cheong fun was thinner here than at Fung’s. Beef ball and beancurd roll was way better here. Worth a try if you are a frequent Fung’s customer to determine which you like better. They do not do pushcarts here though so that is a minus on the experience. Also, some parts of the restaurant had a weird smell. ”

“ The decoration of the restaurant is very exquisite and luxurious. The interior of the restaurant is very large. There are many tables and there is no need to wait for a table. The waiter has a very good attitude and takes good care of the children throughout the whole process. It is a very good dining experience. Chinese-style southern morning tea. Each dish is very small. , the price is not expensive, you can order many dishes for one meal, and there are many varieties. Suitable for small gatherings, we recommend rice rolls, pineapple buns and chicken feet. ”

However, this dish requires advance reservation as it is not on the regular menu due to its complex preparation. As a "kid at heart," I absolutely love it. It's a dish that pleases both young and old. **Teochew Marinated Platter** is a must for gatherings, offering a variety of items that make for a delightful appetizer experience before the main courses arrive. **Steamed Orchid Crab**, a special Father's Day offering, is impressively presented, making it a standout dish. The crab is rich in roe and delicious, definitely worth savoring. Typhoon Shelter Shrimp Dumplings are astonishing. The crispy skin is reminiscent of rice crackers, and the chewy texture makes it an instant favorite. Overall, great place to have dim sum , great for large family gatherings and friends parties. Highly recommended ”

“ Great Dim Sum! Good selection (they also have items from regular menu). Good flavor of all things we ordered: rice rolls, chicken feet, Chinese broccoli, beef tripe soup and the baos Fair prices. Would recommend for lunch! ”

“ Had a great time at Tasty Seafood & Dim Sum this morning. Arrived at around 11:15 am and the place was already busy! I ordered dim sum only today and the food was served very quickly. The pricing was reasonable and I really enjoyed the sesame balls. The koi fish feeding was definitely a highlight! Don’t forget to ask for fish food when you get to the front desk :) :) ”
